Mr Andrew D Chadwick.
How does one describe such a man in words!
I have struggled over time to find them.
For a gentleman of such calibre who first became an employer to me and then privileged me with friendship, a gift that speaks louder than any words I could write.
I am drawn to the memories of Andrew by his friends, one in particular.
That being regardless of age, Andrew always referred to every male as YOUNG MAN.
Myself included, despite being some years his senior.
That memory put a smile on my face at such a sad time and reminded me of every morning I walked into Andrews office and said good morning Mr Chadwick, only to be greeted by the same words
GOOD MORNING YOUNG MAN!
However one morning I thought I would break with the traditional greeting and greeted Andrew with good morning mister "C".
Andrew looked at me rather indignantly, then thought for a few seconds and with a smile on his face replied good morning Mr"C"
(as we shear the same first letter of sir names)
This continued to be the mornings greeting, that I sadly miss and began a friendship that I sincerely hoped would have ended in myself departing this world first!
Not a man so young as Andrew, having to leave two wonderful children EVE and MILES, " a credit to both " and such a caring, devoted wife AMANDA.
Who I might add, has been so strong for so long and despite all adversities has always found time to care for the people around her!
I am now left with a space in my life(not comparable to the Chadwick families by any means)only to be filled by memoires of a good man!
I would like to leave this page and you all that might read this, with a few words in tribute to ANDREW (R.I.P.)
